Halloween at Real Life Ministries

We went to our chuch's Harvest Festival. It's very cool. It provides a safe environment were you can stay out of the cold, sport your costume, and get loads of candy. We went with some friends of ours from our neighbor who have barely, if ever gone to a church so we're glad they were willing to go.

The Brawny Man.

A really neat pumpkin carving.

Sammy high-fiving a giant pink gorilla.

Halloween With The Poteets

Happy Halloween! I know it's not October anymore but I figured It doesn't matter as long as you guys are able to see all this. Mom was a cute little pink bunny

Dad was a rat.

Mario without Super Mushroom (Alex), Princess Peach (Taylor), Mario with Super Mushroom (Scott)

Actually, Dad went through a lot of pain to get those whiskers and ears to stay. He have to paper-clip them on his nose and ears. That's commitment.

I was the robot. I had it ready by October 1st. Just to leave a time cushion.

Baby Gibson was an adorable little puppy.

Grayam wasn't in the group picture because he had fallen asleep. He eventually woke up so it was ok.

We started the game stations soon afterwards. This is Alex giving Georgey some instider tips.

I ran the fishing station.

Tay ran the mini golf.

Scott ran the sword fighting station

Surprisingly we had the exact amount of prizes buyable with the tickets Georgey and Grayam earned.

Wenatchee Trip Part:3

"I spy the green truck." That phrase has been used for years. Every time we go to Wenatchee we try to see who can see it first. This time we wanted to see it up close. So we decided to hike up there to take a closer look.

A tire from the truck.

When I saw those bones I wasn't fazed. I was determined to get to the green truck.

As we drew nearer it began to look odd. (Beside the rusting.) Then we realized it's not the green truck! It's the green car! We were stunned. How could this be possible? After all these years, the truth be out!
The proof is in this rusty puddin'. It's officially the green car.

Wenatchee Trip Part:2

Well it was very windy during the night but we're still alive to blog about it. When I woke up the tent was folded over my face. With my excellent deduction skills I quickly realized that the wind was blowing pretty hard. I didn't mind very much. I knew that with me in the tent, we weren't going anywhere. I started snoozing a few minutes later. Alex was pretty shaken up by it though. Earlier that day a military jet flew by and made a lot of noise and he thought it was bombing us. He might have thought that they were connected or something but anyways everything turned out alright.

Grandma Rothrock and Leonard came by for lunch.

I never knew that Leonard could play tennis and run around so well. He had more stamina than I did. I was dying on the ground afterwards but he was just fine.

                                                                                                        Focus on the game Scott.

Wenatchee Trip Part:1

When we got in the Wenatchee area we visited Grandma Leonard's house and visited for a little bit. Then we headed back to Crescent Bar to our campsite to set up.

Scott helping.

Dad directing and me trying to help.

That is the family activity center.

Why is someone lighting a book on fire in the tent?!?!?!?!

Just kidding, that's us doing a Bible study before bed.
